First off Clinton County is not my hometown track , ( where did I say that ? ) ....My hometown track is 10 mile away and I don't go there.... I will drive right by it 2 to 4 hrs. away to go to races....Clinton County is one of my favorites though by far....I've been to many tracks, around 60 now to all sized tracks to watch all kinds of dirt track racing over the years ....I like Lernerville, but it still IMO isn't as good as racing as Clinton County....You live close to Lernerville and make it your home track and that's great but for my money Clinton is more racey and exciting for the fans and drivers.....

I have no problem at all with you liking Clinton Co. better than Lernerville, we all like different things.  I also don't know how many times you were at Lernerville this year, and what your opinion that Lernerville is not as racy as it used to be is based on.  Any track can be off on a given night, but I probably went to Lernerville for about 65% of their shows this summer, and very rarely left disappointed.

Didn't make it to Lernerville this year....I'm going on what other people said....You're right about track conditions being different from week to week though.

no lernerville regular is going to tow to clinton county. just as nobody from clinton is going to come to lernerville

Wouldn't say that for sure?....Clinton has a $20,000 dollar purse with $5,000 to win compared to Lernerville paying between $2,000 and $3,000 but don't know the total purse ?

I hear ya wolfie. the regulars at lernerville that only run 1 night a week are stuck on that tire deal. so even if they would tow to Clinton they would be in the same situation as guys coming to lernerville I believe. the 72,56 and 10 team are the only cars that I think would consider it. you can't really say miley anymore because he picks and chooses were to run. I think your going to see more teams going in that direction personally. the cost of fielding a slm today with the purses what they are. they can't afford to get busted up racing for weekly purses.

I agree with ya on the 72,56 and 10 cars might showing up?....The H1 car like you say might show up anywhere?...Hagerstown is having a $7,000 SLM race the 14th ,(features only) with $1,000 going to 10th and a real good purse ....Only thing there is they're qualifing Friday (the 13th) so there's another if?....So some guys that don't make the feature Friday might show up at Clinton on Saturday?

Lernerville and Clinton County draw from two totally separate racer bases. Neither race is special enough to draw the racers away from home. The two races aren't going to affect each other, like, at all.

I'm guessing that Clinton County may draw some cars from Hummingbird and Thunder Mountain. Maybe some from Dog Hollow.
