Friday night at Thunder Mountain Speedway in Brookville, PA will see the 2nd annual Eric Witherite Memorial paying $3000 to the winner. The 30 lap main event will pay $300 to start also. Boom Briggs and Jared Miley have the two ULMS wins on the year at Thunder Mountain. Miley is expected to be on hand.

SAMSUNG Farrell did not win the point championship . If Miley would show up I would put my money on the regulars

Is the race paying $2,000 to win or $3,000???? The above says $2,000 and now you are saying $3,000!!

My bad, read it quick and thought the guy was talking about the Hummingbird race since that was the schedule & purse from the original post.

So who all was there? Haven't seen a run down. Heard the track was in great condition.
There's a mylaps tab on the Hummingbird website on the News and Results page, go there for complete results.

we raced both thunder mountain, and hummingbird this weekend. I see why lernerville has lost cars, a little lernerville, with a better racing surface....very fast little track.....but get rid of the white flag before every restart.......guys know what green is. this was the third time at the bird for us this year...love that racey little track.. wish they were closer, two passy, bad ass little tracks....wish statelines crew would see how a fast little tracks action is, with 800 hp added to it. will be back next year, now off to eriez, where you will see a ton of cars............and some of the best racing you'll see in these parts....and that announcer kicks ass.........at both those tracks.

Were you there? Yes, Miley won it, and I give him 100% credit for the win, but Paul Kot definitely had the better race. No question, without the late caution Paul wins. Miley had a killer restart and Paul still came back and raced door to door to the checkered......... in an almost 20 year old chassis. Lol. Fantastic race from beginning to end by the locals AND the invaders.
Just for the record, ( I was there ) Paul Kot passed Miley on the 1st lap of the race after there was congestion up front, and from then on he dogged the 36 all the way until they caught the previous leader, Farrell, whose tires looked to be giving up as you said.... No one knows when the 3 cars got bottled up, who would have come out of there 1st, as the yellow waved, as you said... And the rest, as they say, "Is history"..... Older chassis, set up perfectly for a track, are as good as any new stuff sometimes ( Miley's 1st visit ).... As everyone has said, GREAT surface, and an exciting race was to be had, with or without that final caution... The 36 gang are a classy bunch, as they came down to the H1 pit with their congrats afterwards, and to hash over the race.... Hope to be back again sometime...
