Is a $13 over 65 gate or $15 for the first night of the Little Guys at Mercer and a $22 Allstar show at Wayne County a better value the a mandatory $50 at PPMS?

It's $37 verses $50 or pony up another $13 for the Lucas show even if you only go on Saturday.

If PPMS was $15 Friday and $35 Saturday, I'd probably do Mercer Friday and PPMS Saturday.  As it is now the decision for me is easy, Mercer Friday and Wayne county Saturday..

50 bucks to go watch on Saturday is tough especially when even at Charlotte it ain't much more for 3 days and you get top of the line SLM's, Big Blocks and Sprints.  I guess it can be looked at as being able to see a Lucas race and not having to throw down money for travel and hotel.

What are the other options out there for western PA and eastern Ohio travelers?

You write a novel about where you're doing and nobody really gives 2 chits. You also drove all the way to Tri City and didn't even know what classes were racing what a genius you are.

You only read or hear what you want to.  I drove to Tri City and then after finding out what was going on there, drove the additional distance to State Line and had a great time there.   Why pick on me?  Where are you spending your money this weekend racing?  This is a fan racing site isn't it?  I'm a fan of dirt racing and I like to throw my two cents in about what I like.

Doesn't it get old throwing your two cents in about what you don't like?

The only things about dirt racing I don't like are those things which I see as things which hurt and keep racers and car owners away from the sport I so much enjoy.

Cumberland this weekend they have an honest racers payout for supers. Hate the track but willing to support it because they are offering it.

What's an "honest" payout???   $3,000 to win I believe and PPMS has done that about three times this year!!

Walt, not everyone wins. When I look at a race to run, I look at 7th place. This 7th place payout will cover my expenses for the weekend. The Rumble paid $600, that won't cover 2 tires, hauler fuel, 5 pit passes and 12 gallons of race fuel. With the Cumberland payout, it will leave a little extra for laps on the motor \expenses, or shock rebuilds or really the next race...

That 3,000 to win purse has got to be one of the "thickest" down through the field that I've ever seen....  Hope it all works out for them, so they can keep up that type of payout...

Paul, you are correct. If I thought we could make Lucas shows we would be there. Not everyone can be you...what is your car number?

Looks like we'll need to know by 2pm if the Grove with the "Run What You Brung" 410 sprints and Super Late Models is the only place to go.

No rain in the forecast tonight for Williams Grove.

Except for maybe PPMS I doubt tracks around here will run after the rain goes through if it hits around 4pm.  Sure would like a word on it before hitting the road by 2pm.
