Before you start bashing PPMS I think it is a fair Price for a two day show.25.00 per night for great racing on a good surface. it was 70 dollars for that shit show firecracker where only one feature was visiable. the past two Pittsburgher with the Lucas guys the racing has been Bad Ass.plus you get the crates and penn ohio series. probably the best 50.00 dollars I will spend all year.

Yea mother nature didnt have anything to do with that dust bowl on saturday right? You would be the first to complain also if they scratched the race and just ran a full event sat night and not the other 2 shows. Cant please anyone here.

3 inches of rain does not = dust last year Fridays part of the show rained out I did not complain one bit the pits were sloppy but the track surface was great and like I said before the racing was great.I am not bashing lernerville in anyway im just saying when that first heat went out and it was a dust cloud they should have watered or done something.A premier race should have a premier surface.

One thing we've learned about PPMS over the last several years is the one thing we don't have to worry about is the surface.

You guys give your 50 bucks to that jerk,,, I'll be going to Portsmouth,Ohio the following w/e for the DTWC . And for the same money [$50.00] I will get to see 3 nites and did I mention that it is " $ 100,000 ' to win ?
If I am not mistaken I believe there were 80 something cars last year. This is the race that I tthink will decide the Championship.
By the way don't fall through the bleachers ......... ENJOY

I trust you meant to say you'd be at Portsmouth two weekends after the Pittsburgher. If you go next weekend, you'll be the only one there. You enjoy and we'll enjoy. Portsmouth is a nice facility, was there twice this summer. I don't travel much anymore to see the big boys, so I relish the opportunity to see them in my back yard.

My buddy lives in North Fayette Township and he said the track is done after the pittsburgher per the township meeting they just had 2 weeks ago.
Your buddy is a liar. Why would they have heavy equipment sitting there waiting to re-clay the track next week if it's closing?

I hate 2 day shows also, but.... 50 bucks for 3 major features is a pretty good deal. I don't think people give the Penn -Ohio series enough credit. A one day 100 lap 20 K to win Lucas race is gonna go $30!!! What they've done is take away anyone who wants to just go Friday night. Now it costs 50 for Sat and they sell more food and drink on Friday. People like me and Gearhead get to see racing for 2 nights. It's a win win!!!

people on here will complain about the gate cost just to complain. there will be campers and people everywhere come Saturday night. those that do not care to go, you'll probably miss 1 of the best races of the year. all tracks schedule these bigger shows at the end of the season in hopes of taking as much money as they possibly can to pad there accounts for the winter months. The race fan wants to go because of the possible field of cars that may show up and for the same reason they want to catch 1 more show before seasons end. it's going to be 5 to 6 months before many of those see dirt racing again.
