Well, I went to the Friday night show and all I am going to tell anyone. Get to Sharon early to claim your seat. These boys were getting it. Steve Francis got a lot of teams attention. Bloomquist seemed to be doing the most body adjustments. RF AND SIDES were getting a lot of attention. But so was his shock dyno. He just couldn't hit on the setup. After watching young mr. o'Neal win the race ? If Scott didn't park it in 4 Hudson had richards beat to the checkerß. He should become team owner. Rockets house rides were the class of the field. Very few adjusting, ALL NIGHT. These cars of today are so AIR dependent it is unreal. In the rocket pit, Josh came over and they were having a talk about the corner of the hood being to hi and not letting the air flow over it smoothly. There is always a great deal of talk about tires. The real speed is coming from bodies and shocks. The only shock not seeing action was the RF as most were changing right sides and LR between every time the car hit the dirt. After seeing them at GIS I am definitely putting sharon on my list. SHOCK NOT GETTING ATTENTION WAS LF NOT RF.

Walt, I can only say they came prepared. Beside making some seemingly minor adjustments, Saturday not so much for the Best motorsports team. and a carb change on the blue Valvoline #1. They pretty much, on track, were the cars to beat. It's funny that you would think the 2 teams would pit close to each other. Not so much. I did find it interesting that when bloomer came in after each session Mark Richards was looking over to see and watch what was taking place. The amount of restarts Friday night, Richards had his work cut out for him, but after a lap or 2 he would just start to pull away from 2nd place. EXCEPT, for Hudson O'neal, he come off the bottom of 4 to the flag like he was in a rocket. The race was his if not for bloomquist bringing out the yellow. Shame he didn't make the show Saturday, but that's why it's said you gotta race to get in.  The kid is good, real good.

Yes, he is the tech director - but his presence hasn't all of a sudden made the teams start changing shocks more often and whatever nonsense he's babbling on about

Let's see. Bloomquist failed pre race inspection. Let's see. Steve Francis was making sure ALL competitors bodies were within the rules. Many teams were adjusting bodies Friday. Did you think as the new tech director he was just going 5o go hang with his racing buddies ? He could have cared less how many teams were switching shocks. You just want to start crap little Johnnie go ahead. I laugh at you people. If you for one instance think I give a crap what you think, your surely playing with yourself. If, naa you'll say something I'll laugh about anyhow.

The New FBI Director is just " Hanging with his buddies " so maybe Steve Francis thinks  that is the new " American way" ?? But hopefully he will tech as thorough as Nascar and or Mcarthey  in the 50's ? Unless Hillary has created a Dossier on Bloomquist  and Loretta lynch and Bill Clinton have another meeting on the Tarmat and have decided to Impeach  Bloomquist from .. The best ever American Dirt track Latemodel  Owner/driver ????

It could happen ..... EVEN in America!

He will only do what the Lucas brass tells him to do.
They won't risk having their golden boys heading to the WoO.
You can take that to the bank....

D1RT, Can't say i disagree. So far, not sure what he did last night at east bay, bloomer is not getting the performance out of that new chassis. I can only say friday at GIS he was swapping shocks every time the car came to rest. If he tested, which i gotta believe he did, and the body adjustments he had to do friday. Maybe that threw his set ups off ? I saw Josh talking it over with his dad and Brandon Shepperd over a adjustment at the back of the hood that would have seemed meaningless. It is why i made the comment about these cars being so air dependent. Francis was making guys do a lot of  trimming on the right front and the sail panels down the sides of the cars.

Bonz45. THANK YOU for posting that. I was only attempting to give the guys up north some early info on what I and many others witnessed the first night out for the 2018 lucas tour. I don't know why nor do I care why people have to be so insulting all the time. Is what it is. Have a good one.

Blue

Its a Parody ! Steve Francis is now the Inspector and has to tech his " buddies " .. If he operated like Hillary , Obama and their " buddies" who have now been proven to Rigg the Democrat primary against Bernie and actually pay " THE RUSSIANS" to set up a frame job on Trump and influence the Election by corrupting the FBI/ CIA/ NSA and get wiretap warrants with fake paperwork paid to Russians from Hillary and the DNC ..

Ie mixing Current News with Current racing news as an example of how corrupt things Could be in racing too !

And you even have D1rt there hinting that someone may sway their " golden boys" with good favor to stay in the Lucas series.

Its just a Parody of The biggest story in American history since Apollo landed on the moon to a racing issue.

Did they still have the winter nationals during the Civil war ? .... that's a joke ! but when woopi golburgh finally has to tell people who get their " News" from 2/4 and 11 .. you can say " I heard about this on racestud  a long time ago "!

ps .. they don't have dirt track racing in Russia and China ! But Hillary winning would have made America the same thing !

That's what it has to do with it .
