What does PPMS have to do do with whether or not Marion Center is Penn Ohio? Personally I haven't heard anything but if that's true then great.

Are they Scheduling a Motors from US only Sportsman race at Marion ? Not on the schedule YET Maybe the week of the Firecracker?
Strange .. They are only about 50 miles from 20 or so Monopoly motor buyers and could travel there easily it seems. .. curious to know why they didn't make the decision to force people to save a ton of money ... think I will call and ask them ! ..... they didnt answer ..and message box full
Fosnaught .. I know you were a Sarver regular ... what direction did you go and why
Thanks for your opinion in advance

This isn't Jim, it's Jason. The reason for this post was because I had heard that Marion Center had changed rules for 2018. I have interest in the Penn Ohio rules package, at MC, because I currently drive for a team competing in that series. I also own my own crate late model (that gets run upon occassion) and have been involved with crate racing for years. Furthermore, I'm the substitute driver for one of the Lernerville stock car regulars when he has to work. I have no dog in any fight with sanctioning bodies. I compete in many different forms of racing and they all have their place. I enjoy all of them for different reasons and I'll keep supporting ALL local racing because it's what me and my family do.

With the history of MC's lack of rules enforcement does this really change things up on the Hill??
Also with them running these rules is there a Penn/Ohio race in the works up there??

Wouldn't it have been nice if you had the opportunity to go to race successive nights and not worry about is my motor program going to run with guys on a big 1/2 or better yet minor changes it would have taken to run MC ???
Lernerville used to be "THE TRACK" not anymore. How's thunder mtn doing on Friday night ? Stateline/Eriez, how's there car counts ?
A mfg. facility wants that land Tomson's will dump the place in a heartbeat.

Stateline's car counts have been solid. Lower than past years for sure, but as good or better than most in this day and age. They are Penn Ohio rules this year too, and have a Penn Ohio show scheduled.

Thanks Jason !
You have three dogs they don't bark lol Mine wont shut up ! I responded to your " interest" because My interest is running a small motor at a lighter weight for a reasonable " fun" investment ! I don't believe Crates ONLY is the way and open with weight handicaps is the way to include Everybody willing ! and why MC chose that , over " Monopoly" Motors ( Buy this or don't come here motor/ Monopoly) and ps ... Buy them from us too ... when they are close enough to have a few of Those guys come an hour away the next night and sell 20 motors to their people maybe
good luck thumbs up !

Since I've only seen it on a Facebook post, I'll mention it here. Supposedly, Marion Center will be utilizing the Penn Ohio rules for their Pro Stock class this year. If anyone has any further info, please reply.
Marion Center is utilizing Penn Ohio Rules and there are no tire brand or compound rule. A Penn Ohio race has been mentioned , Not sure if it will happen.
