April 30, 2018 (Sandy Lake, PA) Race week is finally here for the Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series as the season opener happens this Friday, May 4th at Thunder Mountain Speedway. The Series is excited at the return of so many great contingency sponsors: Hoosier Tire Mid Atlantic & Precise Racing Products, American Racer & Lias Tire , Genesis Shocks, Close Racing Supply, SS Chassis & Supply, Wedge Motorsports, Dirt Defender LLC, Big Daddy’s Speed Center, and Les Frickshun.

With their contributions we are able to reward pro stock drivers, especially the Series’ drivers, with multiple contingency prizes at each race,” exclaimed Shaun Hooks, Series Director, “Over $1,000 in prizes are given at each race, so if you do the math that’s over $13,000 in prizes during the 2018 season. That’s not even including banquet prizes or the extra prizes for the Steel Valley Pro Stock Nationals!”

The Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series begins the 2018 13-race schedule at Thunder Mountain on May 4th followed by the Ed Laboon Memorial Race at PPMS on June 2nd and the inaugural Steel Valley Pro Stock Nationals on June 15th & 16th. The series will have registered drivers battling for a championship with an estimated $15,000 point fund plus the additional money and contingency prizes throughout the season.
