Probably would be a better car count if it was closer to the Pittsburgher.

I think i counted 7 cars that have run all the series races this year. Theres a 2 grand ulms race at Tyler County, a 30 lap special at Winchester, a regular race at Port, a special at Mckean, regular race at Selinsgrove, no supers at Hagerstown and Cumberland, maybe 19 cars? Probably get Matt Cosner, maybe Tyler Bare.

If PPMS was smart theyd do that same purse for stocks or crates. $3000 to win and $400 to start would get you 50 stocks and 35 crates versus 15 SLM. What are they gonna get maybe 50 more fans to watch it? I mean look at the laboon and jook race.

If they took the money they are putting up for this race and put it towards the laboon or jook races they would get a chitload of cars. I think this year Laboon race got over 50 and last year the Jook race had 43. Those two shows got the most cars of any races all year which is a testament to the hard work that Vince and Brandon put in.

Rumor is they will be dropping the ultimate series late models from the next scheduled race due to lack of car count tonight I heard.

this is the 2nd year in a row that the ultimate car count was down! last year I think there was only 1 car and this year maybe 4 or 5. keep the sanctioning money and put it back into the purse or keep it.

27 crates, if only they would put that money tonight into the Jook race, could have it be 5-6,000 to win.

I don't think it is the ultimate fault this time around. The cars that are in their points did show up. It's the locals not wanting to support the event.

This is pretty accurate. PPMS has had issues with car counts for every super race but the Pittsburgher for the last few years.

Sadly $3k isn't going to draw a lot of cars these days.
I'm sure they lost a few cars that went to Tyler County for the ULMS race that are chasing the ULMS points.

At least the cars that Ultimate brought last night were competitive. Lee, Cosner, and Robinson certainly aren't slouches and they are used to running big tracks. They are better cars than the ULMS or UFO have brought in recent years.
