I know a lot of you folks don't care much for pavement racing, but there's a beautiful little 1/3 mile asphalt track in Midvale, OH, about an hour west of Steubenville on US 22W then to US 250W, past Tappan Lake. (You go right past 250 Speedway on US 250W).  The Main Event Late Models are headlining the show, running a 100-lap feature paying $2,220 to win, and if you've never seen these cars, you owe it to yourself to head on out.  Also on the card are the Open Modifieds, running a 50-lap feature for $1,500 to win, Open Street Stocks and Open Compacts (4 Cyls).  Cost to get in, $20 for adults, and $15 for seniors.  Lots of motels in the New Philadelphia area right off I-77, which is about 3 miles or so from Midvale, if you don't want to drive back home after the races.   Plus, much cheaper gas in Ohio.

Flash is right on, a nicer facility you won't find. I've been there multiple times, they also put on an excellent fireworks display.

It is a great track, wish it wasn't a 4 hour drive from me. We (VARC) run the vintage cars at 250, don't know why we can't get a date at Midvale, wish we could.

Is 250 running this year? I thought I heard it wasn't but I don't know. It is closeby, probably less than 30 minutes.

250 is back open this year. Drove past it a few weeks ago and they were running.
