Here are a few thoughts after last weeks show.

- Great job by all involved to build this race into what it has become truly a must see race.

- Nice clean week for Zarin, put it into the show and kept his nose clean after a few rough weeks.

- Bentz illegal again, what a shock

- You won't find another RUSH race with this much heat in the field, has an all star feel.

- Hawkins is a bad man, that kid can wheel anything.

- Awesome to see the stands packed, great crowd and the kids fest was a big success.

- Thoughts on the 99 and 12 incident? At the track many were vocal that 99 dumped 12 but after seeing the highlights on Dirt on Dirt looked like the 12 crowded the 99 and it was a racing deal. Shame it happened as it would have been a good 4 way battle for the win between 13 12 99 and 1C.

I watched the highlights on dirtondirt.com It was a good race. That Branden kid that promotes ppms is doing a good job this year. By any chance is Vince and him co-promoters for the track this yr? Another big car count is coming this weekend at Tri-City.

Neither Branden or Vince are promoters for the track.  Vince only promoted and put together the Ed Laboon to honor his father, and Branden puts together the Jook.  They aren't otherwise affiliated with the track.

They are still the two best promoters the track has. There could be a big special event for one of the classes every night if the promoters worked as hard as Branden and Vince do on those 2 races.

Not gonna argue that.  Would be nice if the owners would take notice and realize that the potential is there is the effort were to be put forward.

hears my thoughts of the race, Russ Matejka got screwed big time before the race. Matt Miley going out the back gate before the race started and everybody had to slam on their brakes and Russ got turned around.  then he comes to the front straight away and nobody would pull out his corner panel. Smokey tells him to go to the pits and get it pulled out, he should have gotten his spot back when he came back  out because the green flag never came out and Miley leaving the track caused it.

You can bet if it was Jared, things would have been done differently. How about Jared’s comment he had nowhere to go before getting into Daryl, I guess that pink panther car doesn’t have brakes in it like his late model. Looked pretty obvious to me that he planned on using Daryl’s car to slow his momentum going into turn 3. I think I saw that same move a few years back in the Pittsburgher when he intentionally took out Keith Barbara.

Looked like a racing deal to me, Miley was already as low as he could go on the track, with the way the cars are these days Charlier probably didn't even know Jared was under him. People don't like Jared because of his last name, he is not the kind of driver to deliberately take someone out on purpose.

My point was he could of still got on the brakes, it wasn’t like he was about to pass him. He had 2 options, check up or take Daryl out. He choose the second one. I understand these are crate cars and need momentum, but Jared put himself in that spot. Daryl is a clean racer himself and didnt deserve being 5aken out

That's BS, Barbara crowded him very badly as was his habit.

Russ matejka got the raw end of deal on the start of the race!!!! Miley could of lifted and gave Charlier a little wiggle room but he decided to bull dozer into the side of his car and using him as a cushion...Other than that Hawkins put on a clinic on how to drive a crate latemodel...Hope to see more big purse crate races in the works...

Reft wouldnt have been there regardless of the condition of his car. Because after the incident with the 1z he ran on to the track under red flag. Kicked the door and punched the 22j while he was sitting in his car. All to find out that the 22j had nothing to do with the accident. He literally took his frustration out on the wrong person and to my understanding got himself kicked out for the remainder of the year.

Looked to me like it was the other way around.  Looked to me like Charlier crowded Miley and gave Jared absoluely no room for error.  Was just a racing deal.  If you're gonna crowd someone like that on a super wide track, don't get mad if something bad happens.  I've never seen Jared purposely wreck someone before, so it's not like he has a reputation for it.

I didn't see Reft get dumped, but if it was Zarin he was mad at why did he run onto the track and kick the side panel of the black 22 the night he got wrecked?

Thats a really good question honey badger. During the red flag he kicked the left side door and said something unpleasant to him. Then went to the infield and after the cars were moved to the back stretch under red. He ran through the pits out onto the track kicked the right side door and punched the driver. After which I assume his crew notified him of his mistake.
