Thats a really good question honey badger. During the red flag he kicked the left side door and said something unpleasant to him. Then went to the infield and after the cars were moved to the back stretch under red. He ran through the pits out onto the track kicked the right side door and punched the driver. After which I assume his crew notified him of his mistake.

 

Pretty bonehead move on his part.  Get mad at the wrong guy and now he can't run at the only track he ever runs at.  Maybe now he'll actually attempt to go to another track if he has another car.

never heard he was suspended ... sadly im in central pa now.. and just have limited knowledge on what actually happens.. id have thought id of heard if he was suspended..maybe given a week off ???

 

I do know he has a spare chassis they were going to pull out to try and make the race but too many parts were damaged by the 1z incident to get it all together for Saturday, he said the rear end had 5-6 cracks in it.. and probably most of the suspension/shocks also  it looked pretty busted up

I heard this guy is putting a new car together and will be out in a few weeks, so I doubt he is banned.

Anyone have a video of the race or the wreck with the 1z and 9r?  My brother wanted to see it since he missed the races that night.

reft is NOT SUSPENDED , waiting on parts to come in for his next car.. apparently the rear end was busted up enough it needed replaced , and hes waiting for frankland to build him one...also waiting on new shocks.. even has to replace the fuel cell  ...zarin must have really dumped him

These crate cars no one wants to check up. And their so aero dependent  at a real fast track like ppms. That's what I hate about crates. 

If you notice one common denominator  with these wrecks, they happen in turn 3/4, on the bottom.Way too wet at the bottom of 3-4 the few weeks I been there then dry till you get to the  the very top. Of course everyone wants to run where the grip is, but the dog shit  gets thrown up all thru the corner when someone goes too deep in it, just a bad deal waiting to happen. Everyone running real close together and losing the nose, you see it all the time there, just doesn't always cause a wreck.

Russ got screwed,period! I saw  the wrecks noted here.Jared lost nose and had no where to go(water/mud slop/ aero?)Josh made rear contact (water/mud slop/aero?) with Mike out of shape (water/mud slop/aero?) and Zarin made rear contact with him too(water/mud slop/Aero?)

also either the yellow flags are late, race command to drivers is late, guys just aren't paying attention, or shit just happens too fast. None of them looked intentional, just hard close racing Both of these wrecks had a car (or 2?) come plow into the spinning car after, makin damage much much worse, both wrecks did developed very quickly thou.

I'm glad to see no one got hurt bad, sucks to see all these cars get damaged.

Most tracks I've been to water normally runs down to the bottom of the track and has nowhere to go. It's just a law of physics.

That's dumb. There's actually another groove there when they run it in, which doesn't happen very often.

nothing has changed there since the late 80's...that's part of the problem.

Ironically one of the few times they did run the bottom in was at the Pittsburgher a couple years ago and it was voted one of the 5 best races of the year that year by Dirt on Dirt. So you'd think they would do the same thing every week after that. Nope!
