Do we have any real info, or is the just click bait?

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Could this REALLY be true? Is that maybe the reason for not trying to run anymore races this fall. If true count me in as a sponsor

Next question, as a racetrack? This is someone who will run it, and not plow it under, right?

Not that we need all of those tracks back but Latrobe had a Facebook posts saying they are racing stock cars in 2019. They plan to have a couple enduro races this year. I think they have a work day scheduled for anyone wanting to help.

the tracks that are dark, are for a reason........either bad division choices, or the racing is sub par. don't need anymore opened back up imo. eriez was to fast last night, but awesome to see lm's go that fast. you want to buy a track that comes with 2000+ fans a week, and 150 cars, i don't know why anyone would play around with any other track......and the racing is the best anywhere, any track, hands down. around here.. facilities need some tlc, but your number one draw, the track......is best around.

Yes

anonymous sources say the new owners will bring in the new Dodge Crate motor and have Stock cars / Crate Latemodels and Crate Sprint cars  under the sanctioning body " Rash" .. these motors are practically free at 6500 .. and after using them a couple seasons .. you will be able to sell them to the lower divisions as they won't be allowed on the grounds unless they have the Certified " rash" brand bolts installed by certified " rash" builders and Fresheners ..

you will be able to buy upgraded parts if you PAY MO Money and is legal provided you PAY MO MONEY for the approved Lightweight Crank etc etc etc .

Ps .. youll save so much money .. you wont even flinch at the $2000 Exaust pipe and $5000 shock package or the $30 per gallon fuel!

nope, i think mercer needs refigured and banked before it opens. and even though crates would do better than what was there, i'm don't run crates of any kind anymore. haven't for 3 years.  they did what they were supposed too, put young talent in slm's. and they are everywhere doing well now. sorry to say, but a closed mercer is helping other tracks survive. boring tracks fissile

out.
