That's pretty impressive, congrats indeed! Also, Walt, I sent you a message. Question about Cavalcade points.

It's one thing to beat the regulars at Lernerville on a somewhat frequent basis, but to win a 410 feature at Port Royal with a full 24-car field,  beating the likes of Lance Dewease, Danny Dietrich, Steve Buckwalter, Lucas Wolfe, Greg Hodnett, Blane Heimbach, and Mike & Logan Wagner, is utterly amazing.  Well, he's been racing over there almost every Saturday night this season, and running with that caliber of competition can only make you a better driver.  Congratulations!!

Wow, yes. That is good.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Oh I completely agree. I am just saying that in regards to the regular Central PA sprint fan. The fan who leaves before the WoO Late Models A main, calls Lates "taxi Cabs" Mods "mud busses" and anything that isn't a 410 a "limited" Sprint car. You have to do something for them (win an A main before they consider you posse). Before that he was just a Western PA guy, you have to force your way in with many of those fans and then they claim you once you succeed.

But remember, those central PA guys aren't nearly as good when away from home!!!   They are nearly unbeatable at home, but anywhere else, be it Lernerville, Eldora or Knoxville, they are just another top car!!

GOOD RACING TO ALL!!!

Walt

Very similar to the california crowd. They are good where they race and less so elsewhere but you have a few like dewease and Hodnett that are a step above the rest from their traveling days.
