Except for having to bear Ohio State football traffic, Atomic Speedway might be south of  the rain and get their show in?

 

3:34 hours from Pittsburgh, I'll bet you'll see Mike Leone and Rick there.  401 and 305 sprints on the schedule with two kinds of emods.  ... and NO crates !    Great track to watch a race and always a good show !

 

Any other tracks anyone sees may race today?

Looks like when the current batch of  rain move through Atomic, they will be clear.  Lets hope they don't get dumped on now so hard they can't get the show in.

What tracks south of Pittsburgh in WV have show scheduled today?  I'm not familiar with WV tracks or I'd look and report.

 

Then there's Michigan which looks like it may be clear today.  How about the two sister asphalt tracks, one in Toledo and one I think north of toledo in  Michigan?

I think they have a good chance of racing and being north of the storm.  I just looked at Weatherbug for Flatrock MI and Weather Bug has them '0' that's ZERO rain all day.  Sure looks like the best place to go watch a race today.

For me it looks like no tracks in the Western PA area and out east will not be racing today.  The thread is about where might an addicted race fan go to watch a race?  I can see Rick and/or Mike chancing heading to Atomic Speedway.  I think as of now the best place to head to is Flat Rock in Michigan and it's just 4 hours from Pittsburgh.  Four hour ride and it ain't no excuse to not go for any real race fan from the Pittsburgh area.  .
