To all our Great Race Fans, Drivers and Team Owners! Due to the sudden resignation of our Track Prep Manager, we regret to announce that the upcoming Thunder Dog 60 3 day event will be postponed and hope to reschedule this event after the Steel City Stampede at Lernerville Speedway in Mid-October. Track Promoter Dan Savino will be interviewing qualified candidates who must have prior or present experience with Track Preparations and working knowledge of Track Prep Equipment. Have you ever heard the phrase ... Don't cut off the hand that feeds you . I'm sure we all have , and tonight that happened at Dog Hollow . This is my opinion and only my opinion . When things aren't broken , you don't fix them . But several months ago with the closing of Marion Center Speedway we at Dog Hollow had an influx of MC workers come to the track . Some very good people and some who think their shit doesn't stink . Those who's shit doesn't stink have caused some very controversial calls resulting in some drivers being very angry , owners pulling cars off the track and several cars leaving . Victims in my opinion are Late model # 20 / 14 / 61 / 66c /28 c / 7 . Pure stock 52/36/51/73*. Four cylinders ... Omgoodness ,And quite honestly so many other bad calls argued and over ruled by a few bad apples coming from MC . The results are obvious . Look at the car count the last several months . It speaks for itself .
Tonight Mr my shit doesn't stink and his son met my shit does stink , me . I can get along with anyone , anywhere . And id give the shirt off my back to someone who needs it more than I . But don't piss me off , or my Dad . Because you are gonna know .
Twice tonight the cocky ass attitude was a bit much from the MC father son duo who have done nothing but cause trouble from the time they came . Things came to a head , because I have had it . Especially since finding out the dad was brought to the track to help promote ... lmao . What kind of promoter eggs people on and acts like a freaking child by stepping on the track making faces at the person they pissed of earlier when running the track in at intermision . Mistake #2 . Yes I stopped and gave him a piece of my mind once again . And if that wasn't enough , son said you don't own the track and was strutting his stuff because Dad was there ... Hmmm .
Apparently , my Dad who stopped and told me to get going was told by the son that you can be replaced ... Ouch . Of course everyone can be replaced , but with someone better ? Idk . Ask the fans , drivers and anybody who has followed my dad from Bedford , Hesston and now Dog Hollow what kind of track the can expect to race on. So I said all of that to say this . My dad says to Dan Savino ... Either he goes or I will . And Dan says I guess you'll have to go , and was even willing to let the very man that for almost 6 years has given you 110% of his time and effort at 75 years old and give you a race surface to the very best of his ability week in and out speaks volumes of your character Mr Savino . My Dad doesn't need you , you needed him . He does what he did because he enjoyed it . Not because he felt for one minute that his shit doesn't stink like the man you chose tonight over him . I'm proud of you Dad . For getting a backbone and doing what is ethiclly right in your eyes . I'd take you hands down over a smart ass any day . Thank you both times last night for having my back even at your age . You have made me so proud of you no matter what happened tonight . Your the better Man .
Now , let's see how Jimmy E and his son finish running Dog Hollow into the ground . Oh , did I just say that . Ooops yeah , he was the flagmen at Marion Center . To all who have read this you figured it out yet ?

Don’t believe everything you read on Facebook. The Marion Center officials were invited over to dog hollow to help out and since they love doing it so much they agreed. The track prep crew didn’t like them coming on to their “ turf” and gave them problems from the start. The track crew started the incidents Saturday and they forgot to mention they even assaulted both those Mc officials. It’s ok though those officials are being the better men and moving on. I don’t want to start anything just stating facts I have nothing to hide I love racing and working at tracks I do it for the pure fun of it. But people like the track crew ruin it. Sincerely the flagmans son.

Allow me to tell my side of the story keep in mind I have nothing to lie about. It all started before racetime on Saturday there was an incident on the track my dad and I went out to see if they needed help. Not on the racing surface run in trucks past us the last guy yelled something out the window having problems with him before we told him we did not want to hear it. He then gets out of his truck and starts screaming and swearing at us we held are ground. Intermission we walked into the pits standing at the top of the track in the pits waiting to walk back in the infield the run in trucks were coming around and he come within a couple of feet from my dad and i my dad just puts his hand in the air. He wildly turns the truck around and stops my dad goes to the window and says what is your problem he then violently opens the door slamming my dad with it and starts screaming again. The dad comes up and starts screaming and grabs a hold of me and starts pushing me my dad and I never laid a hand on them. So who are the real bad guys in this situation? But it is what is is again we are being the better people just wanted to post the facts on what actually happened sorry this is a long post and Im sure the grammar and format is not perfect. The track prep guys were the Dog Hollow guys that have been there for awhile.  You misunderstood who was who.  MC guys came in and ticked off the DH track prep guys, now the track prep guys have quit.

Well the track prep guys from both tracks sucked so no big loss. Find somebody who knows how to use a tractor with a disk or rotary harrow and prep the track properly. Watering the top of a hard packed track and letting the water trickle down to the bottom is not proper track prep.

Here"s a novel idea try working together and leave your petty disagreements aside, and improve the track prep for the racers and fans. Or is this a lost cause, just putting this out there.
