MOTHER NATURE STRIKES AGAIN AND TAKES THE WIN AT THUNDER MOUNTAIN AND PPMS!  NEXT EVENT FOR HOMAK PENN OHIO AT MCKEAN COUNTY FAMILY RACEWAY ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29TH!

For Immediate Release

September 18, 2018 (Sandy Lake, PA)  Unfortunately as the season winds down and fall sets in, the Homak Penn Ohio make up events at Thunder Mountain and PPMS are a wash for the 2018 season.  The Series will travel to McKean County Family Raceway in Smethport, PA for Saturday's portion of their Fall Open Invitational on September 29th.  The event will be a $1,000 to-win, $150 to start race with a $250 to-win B Feature if over 35 pro stocks.

Participating drivers will have a $25 registration fee.  All drivers will be eligible for a Hoosier tire donated by Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic/Precise Racing and an American Racer tire donated by Lias Tire.  2018 Homak Penn Ohio Series’ registered members will be eligible for additional contingency prizes donated by various Homak Penn Ohio sponsors including a case of racing oil donated by Les Frickshun, a Homak hand carry tool bag, racing products donated by Precise Racing and Dirt Defender LLC, gift certificates donated by ARbodies, Genesis Shocks, Close Racing Products, Wedge Motorsports, Big Daddy’s Speed Center, ADMAX, and Aero Wheels.

As the season winds down, Saturday's event will provide must-see racing as the point chase heats up between Chris Schneider, Andrew Gordon, Bobby Whitling, and Rob Shook.  Currently, three-time point champion, Schneider has 2 wins on the season and sits 7 points in front of Gordon, who visited the Homak Penn Ohio Series victory lane 4 times this season.  2017 point champion, Whitling is third with one season win, while Shook's consistent runs keeps him in the mix and looking for his first Penn Ohio win in 2018.
