[Dog Hollow]

UPDATE: 

To all our racing Community, Drivers & Team Owners. Starting tomorrow evening and throughout the weekend, Central Pennsylvania is going to be hit hard by Mother Nature bringing in a lot of rain. So unfortunately again, we are cancelling this weekend's Thunder Dog racing activities. As many of you are aware, next weekend is the World of Outlaw championships at Charlotte North Carolina, we are aware of several teams from the area and a lot of local race fans that will be going to this awesome event. The rescheduled date will be Friday November the 16th and Saturday November the 17th. As previously stated, all depending on mother nature! This rescheduled event will be hosting the Super Late Model division. Please keep an eye on our Website and Facebook page as we will be making an announcement pertaining to some changes in the event format.

 

Dog Hollow Speedway will be hosting their 5th Annual Thunder Dog Final Showdown on Saturday October 27th! A Test & Tune will be held on Friday the 26th for the event.



Classes:

1. Open Motor Steel Block Late Models (Cars under this category include: Marion Center Speedway, Bedford Speedway, Hagerstown Speedway, & Mason Dixon Shootout Series. This class will run an Open Tire Rule. Must weigh 2,400lbs with the driver after the feature.
2. 358 Semi Late (Dog Hollow Speedway, Hummingbird Speedway, Thunder Mountain Speedway, & Port Royal Econo Lates – Four Barrel Optional – Must weigh 2,400lbs with the driver after the feature.)
3. Super V6 Late Models
4. Pure Stocks
5. Four Cylinders
6. 270 & 600 Micro Sprints
7. 100 Lap Enduro

NOTE: Due to this being a special event, the alcohol ban has been lifted in the grandstands for this event only under the usual stipulations:

*NO glass bottles will be allowed! Cans/Six Packs ONLY!
*All coolers will be checked at the gate!
*PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY! Any disorderly or belligerent conduct will not be tolerated!

_FRIDAY the 26th_
• Test & Tune for ALL CLASSES!
• Motorhomes can start arriving at 1:00pm! (Camping is free. Camping will be patrolled by security throughout the evening.)
• Pits Open: 5:00 | Grandstands Open: 6:00
• Track Testing will start: 7:00
• Track Testing will conclude: 10:30!

• WEEKEND PRICING STRUCTURE:
General Admission (Friday) - Free
Pit Pass (Friday) - $30
Pit Pass (Saturday) - $35
2 Day Pit Pass – Friday & Saturday - $60
Children’s Pit Pass (10 & Under) -$15

_SATURDAY the 27th_
• Qualifying Heats & Feature Races for ALL CLASSES!
NOTE: The below class list is not the official running order! Running order will be determined the day of the event.

Clinton County is racing Saturday.

Atomic Speedway has a $2500 to win Late Model race, plus modifieds and sport mods.  However, the Chillicothe weather looks less than promising as of now.

So the Pooch has postponed until November 16/17 and have added supers back to the program.

That's a gutsy call. Most people will have started tearing down their cars by then so they can get a head start on 2019.

Yep New body almost done , Engine out to get freshened Hope to have her done by Christmas.

She is resting in a nice warm garage.
