Is the track dead?  Haven't seen anything at all about it.

Did that risk get allot greater with Latrobe and the track in clear field being opened back up ?
America is exporting fleets of coal and first time in our lives oil too but that sounds like a tough deal with those two tracks opening back up ? I would wager it wont

If they do open back up I could see it specials only or on Sunday. No way another track going Saturday night will survive and nobody's going up against lernerville with father Tim ruinning...I mean running..the joint.

Over time, MCS has raced on everyday of the weekend, so a Sunday night show would not be a totally foreign concept. That stated, the current circumstances do not look favorable moving forward.

I think the days of all these tracks running are over. Just aren’t the cars or fan interest to support them all.

Snooky, your point is well taken. I believe the only exception would be in running a specials only deal. Facilities upgrades are also a need.
The place has not changed much since it opened. Some are enamoured with the past but its not the future.

The potential for success would be to make each date an event and not merely another race paying the same amount for Supers that was being offered back in the late 90's early 2000 (e.g. $3,000 to-win and a hot dog to start). Some promoters just cannot seem to get their heads around we are in the entertainment business and racing is the genre!!
