SAD NEWS!!!  First saw Dale Johnson race way back 1953 at the old Butler Speedway when he was running the George Blaney #64 coupe.   Gone but never forgotten...R.I. P. Dale.

GOOD RACING TO ALL!!

Walt

Remember the first time I saw him race was at Butler Speedway in the black and gold # 7 Dick Neely Jolly Cholly Chevy.  When those orange flames shot out those long tailpipes, I knew I was a sprint car fan.  He was also the first driver I ever bought a photo of and still have it.  Only ever gave names to two of my street vehicles, and the first was  " Dale ".  He was a gentleman on and off the track.  May he rest in peace.
