Years ago this board was like reading the National Enquirer. Lots of lively conversations going on. That was good for the people who advertised on here due to the traffic. I don't agree when it gets personal but the colorful debates were always fun to drop by and read. Now everything is PC and boring. We can all get real time race results now on our phones but years ago we came on here to get them. And we got entertained as well. Turkeysub, Huck Tyson, Sprinter2001 etc. We also need a new John Flinner on the track. Love him or hate him he was usually good for a few story lines each week. LOL

I disagree about needing another John Flinner. If I want to watch someone wreck the better drivers in front of him, I'll go to the Dayton fair demos. I like when it's the racing, and not some ape with a big motor and bigger front bumper plowing through everyone else.
My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Im a Flinner fan by he used that Johnson money too to intimidate
So its entertaining but also at he expense of others like the Danimal one night I witnessed
And one pittsbuegher he was going backwards so he just went ballistic with his hubcaps included car and ended up doing donuts in turn two in a fit of rage

I agree Turkeysub and John Fl1nner are the best. I feel like Fl1nner isnt done. He still has some race left in him and Im sure someone will ask him to drive for them at some point. And Ill be there to watch!
