Anyone ever notice when the crate promotions have something to post, be it pre race or results and comments. Few, very few even click to look. Some think they can do a stand alone show. Funny, funny, funny.

Those "views" are probably search engine indexing bots. Nobody posts because most of us want them to go away. The sanctioning groups are just obnoxious with their take over mentality. We're sick of them bombing message boards in an attempt to expand their empires.

Look, crates sounded like a good idea at first. You would think that sealed motors would illuminate which drivers were better, and in some cases they do, but in execution they damaged a great division at a premier track, and just changed the way drivers with money get advantages over drivers without it.

Friday night at Lernerville the winner wouldn't have finished the race without a late caution, because his engine was getting hot. In an open motor, leading the race, you can risk overheating, because a blown head gasket is a blown head gasket, but in a crate, a blown gasket means you send the motor out. Supposed cheaper buy-in, greater cost of ownership.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

So Brad works for free? I like Brad based on his interaction on this board, so I'm not criticizing him. I think he would want to get paid for changing a head gasket. Oh, and I'm pretty sure that was an Ingram engine.

In fairness, maybe Tyler wouldn't have risked cooking an open engine either.
