It was a cluster of a weekend. Thursday night got rained out after a 20-minute rain storm came through then the sun came out. They ended up canceling due to no fans in the stands. Friday night the track was extremely rough and Turn 3 with a lot of cars getting torn up. Saturday they end up canceling due to the storms and will not attempt to race on Sunday. Tomorrow they are making an announcement on a makeup date. A lot of pissed off people that drove long ways for this big race aren't too happy.

Today was a perfect day for the makeup. Not running it today while everyone is there already makes absolutely no sense at all.

Interesting, your comment about no fans in the stands. I never saw any PR about this event, and I'm only a a 90 minute drive away. I bet this pretty much drives a nail in the tracks coffin. Again.....

Being a non-sanctioned race well out into Ohio, I have never received any info from them!! From what I read on Facebook, track conditions were far from good!!

I'm 45 mins NW of track (35 miles) and we got pounded Saturday from 8pm-4am. My yard is still soft and it's downhill to creek. We've had rain almost daily here so a soft track is not a surprise. They have a curfew as well so that made sense on Thursday cancelation. Whiny people on rough surfaces a joke. Was told 3&4 was little rough but rest good. Here's idea, drive around the bumps if don't like them.

Think there will be a lot of fans and race teams upset with the cancelation!!! Make-up dates can be somewhat of a problem for big races!!

Yes they were. But in reality we are already a few months into the season and they would be stepping on the all stars or the Outlaws shows which a lot of those other drivers are committed to.

Can;t argue with that!! That's why it is always a problem to find a make-up dade!!

I think Sunday July 7th would be a good makeup date.
WoO is off and between Michigan and Wisconsin race dates and no Allstar race.
edit: unless it's being held for a Lucas rain date

This site is good enough for Fastrack, Rush, Sharon, Lernerville, PPMS, etc., If it ain't good enough for them to also read as Retort said, their done anyway.
