Finally, the weather gods smiled on PPMS and fans got to see a full night of racing.  Track was pretty dusty early on, but after two additional waterings, by feature time it was much better.  There were 21 Rush Late Models, 18 Rush Modifieds, 12 Rush Sprints, 14 Elite Modifieds, 9 Pro Stocks, 12 Hobby Stocks, 3 Open 4 Cylinders, and 5 Young Guns.  Nice crowd for Autograph Night and $1 hot dogs.  Results as follows:

Just a note in the hobby stocks- Dave McManus drove the 171 in the feature for the win, and Joey Anthony drove the 221X all evening. With AJ Poljak driving too it was like the old pure stock days!

and Jake took his first laps in a few years by driving his son Marc's car during hot laps, him and Joe went at it like last lap of your memorial race..lol..however his kid wasn't about to let him run it all night.

Also have to say kudos to the Mileys and the track crew for getting that show in and the feature track with multiple grooves after some prep. The track was soft and had ripples due to all the rain and no cars on it for over a month. They made the right call with the water and running it in after autograph night. Guys ran the bottom, middle down and top all night, especially the Emods.

They also skipped victory lane to get it all in by curfew.

By my watch, 6 features in less than 2 hours. Well done.

I guess we will see this Friday and Saturday on who really knows how to prep a track with the temperatures being in the mid-90s.

I would say lernetville has the most equipment to make a great track. As flash stated they had a water 2 or 3 times last weekend at ppms blue by you.

That's only because with the torrential rain on Thursday night, they were prevented from working the track on Friday.  Lernerville's track prep has been very good this year also, no need for a pissing match.

I asked ppms if we could bring both our 4 cylinders to support the class that has 3 cars without changing our air box(stock won't fit my car) and he said no...u have 3 cars a week and say no to something so simple to eliminate cars possibly coming..kinda surprising
