With the ease of social media their really is no excuse to at least not get them posted after the show if not nightly updates.

Very true!!!   I did PR for Mercer for a couple of years way back in the 70s. Had to type up a story on a ditto mat, run them off, stuff them in envelopes and then take them to the post office on Sunday afternoon. Had to use Special Delivery stamps to get them to the trade papers like AARN and NSSN in time!!!   Now the PR guy can type up a story, click on a couple of buttons and email it out to many different media outlets!!  Track doesn't even have to pay for stamps!!! Personally, I think several tracks are just too "cheap" to pay someone to write the story or even just send the results with no story!!

GOOD RACING!!!

Yeah, at least take a photo of the final pit board and post it. It's the first year of a reopened track, they should want publicity and public interest.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Wow! I just went to their website. I looks like someone grabbed a template from the late 90s, and threw it together in an hour. Most of the pages are empty.

Just hate to bash this track, but they have some issues.  All are fixable rather easily.  I left at 1:00 AM and the last feature was still not done.  Took a half hour intermission and ran a 4 cyl feature that took almost 45 min. Crate feature was horrible!!  track seemed racey but no one could move up.  Car count and crowd was fine on a beautiful night.  I'm going back but they have to finish a little sooner or at least run the 4 cyl last.  One thing, I think they'r trying hard.  Mgt told me they are trying to reschedule  POPS but getting a date from them is difficult.  Does anyone know where to find points list on there facebook or web page???

I don't want to bash the track either, but they have a lot of inexperienced drivers in the 4 cyl division and Pure Stocks, and the night I attended, the Pure Stock feature was first, it took 45 minutes to run, and was curfewed after only 8 laps.  Let the Crates run first, then alternate the other divisions weekly.  I left at eleven o'clock the night I was there, and they had only completed the Pure Stock feature.  Nice track, nice field of cars, just speed things up a little.  No intermission is needed, unless additional track prep is required.

I agree flash.  They put a time limit on and then took forever on line ups and track clearing after wrecks. they did have a wrecker in the infield last night and lined up features during victory lane pix.  where calling cars to line up  much quicker.   But an intermission when you have 6 features to run is just silly!!

Can we all just cut the track some slack here...... It's the first year for this group and it's not like the weather has let them get many nights in so that they can try to see where they need to work on things .
Yes, it was a long night. They are not using transponders right now, so that is some of the line up problems. Personally, I Hope that changes for next year... Should speed things up.

It was my first time there and hope to make it a couple more times to show my support to a group that is putting an effort into reviving the place for years to come. Thanks to Dennis and the staff for all the work they have and will put in. Appreciate what they have done so far.....

I'm pretty sure we all hope they iron out the problems and do well. This is a message board, and we discuss things. I don't know that anyone is saying the newly reopened track with problems is a hopeless situation. No one is going to the barn to find the pitchforks and torches. We're just discussing the current experiences with Latrobe, and Walt was hoping that someone had information that he could use, since his points series needs finishing orders to tally correctly.
