The Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series will make their first ever appearance at the 1/4 mile bullring, the Path Valley Speedway Park in Spring Run, Pa., this coming Friday night August 9th. The event will pay $3,000-to-win and $400 -to-start.
Although this event will make the first ever appearance of the series at Path Valley it is not the first Super Late Model event at the speedway. On June 6, 2016, Jason Covert of York Haven, Pa., who grew up watching racing at Path Valley, picked up the victory in the Appalachian Speedweek event there.
"Path Valley is a very racy bullring and we are excited to bring the Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series to the facility in what should be a great night of racing," said Ultimate Northeast regional director Rose Compton.
The Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series will be joined by the Mid-Atlantic Modifieds and 305 Sprints. Gates open at 5 with hot laps slated for 7. General admission is $20 with pit admission $35.
