I'm not sure of the name of the person that is actually leasing it, but Carl Bowser is involved as far as bringing the track and grounds back to life.

I saw a post about this on Facebook a few weeks back. If they are making it bigger it stands a chance of being successful. There are several small car tracks out here that are highly successful. They should consider running wingless 600s as they have really taken off At places like Kutztown, Bridgeport, Airport in Delaware, Linda’s, and Lanco. Linda’s and lanco still run them with a wing sometimes, but last week was 600 speedweek and they had huge car counts over 50.

Can't imagine the $$$ that would have to go into the place. Great to hear a iconic speedway may make a come back.

Now if someone would buy motordrome and cover it with dirt. Be like hitting the lottery. A pole needs started to get the name schmuckers back on the banner for latrobe.

Who cares about the name?  They need a real sign to let people know it exists!
