Will Mercer stick the patriots with a $50 registration fee?

Or are they only interested in screwing over local sprint car racers?

My bet is they will screw local racers but not out of town visiting racers.

If Mercer does not charge any new car their registration fee, it's a big we think your only good to pad our wallet to all local racers.

At least Mercer please be fair and screw all drivers and car owners the same.  :)

yep:  http://patriotsprint...ership_Form.pdf

The question is will Mercer make each new car Patriot and new invader pay their $50 registration fee sticking it to Patriot racers and other new cars the same as they stuck it to first time local racers?

My guess it they will not stick it to them the same as they screw local first time only one race there locals.  With Sharon racing 410 the same bullshit applies not knowing if they will get much of a crowd.  Sharon was packed again last week, were they?

There's a possibility the invaders will have to pony up 50 bucks to register with Mercer along with the 360 and also pony up 50 bucks to the Patriots.  Is it going to cost any new invader $100+ to race?

Since the same show will be at Eriez Sunday I guess the bs sucker you in will be it's only going to be half for the two days.

I was thinking about going to Mercer instead of Sharon but I'll support Sharon and our local racers over a driver car owner rip off track any day..  Besides last year per Patriot info they only brought in 18 cars.  I'm also not about to watch 360 have to work their way though 305's.

YOU FANS complain and cry about having low budget slow cars on the track.  WHY WOULD YOU GO TO WATCH a PLANNED RACE putting 305's on the track with 360's?    At the first yellow will they put all the 305's that are left racing to the back?

The 305's put on a good show and so do the Patriots.  butt

The BRP tour cars pay a registration to the series and not the track. But if you run a weekly show , you register with the track. Youre shouting at clouds and angry about something that has nothing to do with you. Again, maybe racing isnt the hobby for you. Id tell you to take your old ass to bingo but I hear they charge you by the card...

I've been very consistent on here over the years only expressing what needs to be said about tracks and promoters constantly finding new ways to get money from racers and car owners.

For me it's simple.  Tracks and promoters need to promote their show to get fans through the front gate and they need to take care of their show not gouging it for every penny they can get.

The track was called the last sprint show and the answer was we need the money from the racers because we don't know how many fans will be there to watch the show.  Nothing at all was said about book keeping cost it was explained that they were taking the $50 from the racers to cover their butts incase fans did not show up.  This fan will be at Sharon!

Spend your $15 to get in the stands, shut up, enjoy the show. Its that simple. Let the people with real money invested, whether it be the track or teams, worry about registration fees and other costs. If a $50 registration fee keeps a team away from a $400 to start show, maybe you need a new hobby. Every race track, sanctioning body, etc carries a registration fee, its part of the game. Tracks are doing what they can to stay open and you have the nerve to act like theyre making a major profit. Jackson County is for sale for $109,000. Go buy it and see how much profit there is to be made.

I'll be at Sharon and this is what I'd like to see happen there.

You all just like to see the front runners and screw everyone else.  They pay the same $250 for 13th on back.  I'd like to see 10 cars pull off after one green lap is run.  They'll all get the same money and the bitching fans on here should be happy.  You'd think from 13th on back they'd at least give racers an extra $10 or maybe $25 per spot.

Come on now how fricken cheap cay you be?  ten bucks a spot would only be $780 with the sprints pretty much packing the place?.

edit:  If they dropped the top pay out down a $1000 to do it they'd be better taking care of more racers and help their profits by $220.

If Sharon has a money problem it's because of too many owners and friends and family of owners working there.  But I'm probably wrong about that too because kids of the owners don't need to work there.  In general I think they have way too many people working there.

Some solid advice for dirtmoron2. You routinely remove all doubt

$109,000. Thats less than most homes. Use your grand promotional mind and put your money where your mouth is. If its so easy, you should be able to make the racers rich and profit in no time

Just off the top of my head so far since the season has begun you have bitched about:
- Sharon wont allow you to take food or booze in
- Sharons parking lot is too muddy
- Rush and Fastrack post too many press releases (promotion last I checked)
- Wayne Countys parking lot is too muddy and too small. The locals get to put seats down before you.
- Mercer is gonna fail because they dont run sprints
- Lernerville raised ticket prices
- PPMS didnt have their payout to your liking even though you didnt go and you dont have a car
- Go cart track has better clay than cheap Lernerville
- Lernerville dares charge $5 extra for reserved seats
- Mercer charged $50 to register for a $400 to start sprint show
- Mercer scheduled a 360 race and 305s might run with them. Also not charging a track registration because its a sanctioned race is an issue

Maybe racing isnt the issue, maybe its you

At least I got you paying attention and how much of your day did you waist researching my correct words of information?.  :)

The only one I see you got wrong is about Lernerville.  If i'm remembering correctly they charged a flat $10 fee for a pit upgrade no matter what you paid for the ticket.  Me buying a first class ticket for a reserved seat had to pay the most for my pit pass.

You also got Mercer wrong.  What I didn't like was to advertise $100 tow money and then hit the car owner with a $50 charge.

Your correct the form of writing I use is more editoral then just reporting facts.  I try to not make any judgement in the future and just report the facts.  OK?

Put yourself into the shoes of the people trying to run a business that hes constantly badmouthing. You didnt like when people were attacking you, and Im sure they dont appreciate it either. I cant stand the guy and he needs to go away.

I couldnt possibly care less if he posts his nonsense setup questions, but when I lost my home track once because of people like him, Im gonna defend it to the end and do my best to keep it from happening again

I may mess up and do it again but as of now i'll quit showing how I see tracks and promoters get deeper and deeper into racers pockets and the importance of racer payout and tow.
