Special Announcement (Race Season Suspended)

With more emotion than I can describe, Dog Hollow Speedway will not be finishing the 2019 race season. Due to several circumstances out of our control, we cannot continue racing under the conditions that we are dealing with. Dog Hollow Speedway would like to thank all our awesome Race Fans, Drivers, Track Personnel and our advertising sponsors and class sponsors for their continued support over the last several years. Our goal is to regroup for the 2020 race season and continue to promote grassroots racing. To all the drivers and team owners that are owed payouts, we will try our best to have everyone paid by the end of the month. Please keep an eye on our website for continual updates.

Thank you - Track Promoter Dan Savino

Please note: We are still going to attempt to run the Halloween Madness race that is scheduled for Saturday, October 12th.

Hope you can pull a rabbit out of the hat and get the place back on its feet. And that the nay-sayers and pessimists  help you out by keeping their mouths shut.

Retort, it's obvious that he screwed racers out of money. The statement said they would be paid, I hope so. In my eyes that's the fine line that takes you from being a respected person to a person that would screw anybody. You lose the trust and respect of the racer, your done and that's the way it should be.

Well he has in the past paid everyone . Just may take awhile . I believe his policy was to pay the Supers and Crates by check on race night . All the other classes got paid that evening ! I remember when Motordrome had it very last dirt race . It was a sprint special . Well the promoter left with all the money and no one got paid !!!!

I was told that happened at the old North Hills Speedway. The promoter took the money and fled to Florida. Not sure what year.
