Just a heads up as a friend sent me this for prices for the Saturdays event. Like many others who plan to hit Raceway 7 that Friday then PPMS Saturday.

 

 

 

NO SATURDAY-ONLY TICKETS: Tickets for Saturday also include Friday's races. This has been done for many years to avoid potential issues and confusion if all events have to be run in one day due to weather, which has happened in the past. We are sorry if you are unable to attend Friday’s preliminary events.

Saturday is $50.00 Grandstand

Pit pass $75.00

The rain excuse that they use to only offer a 2 day pass doesn't hold water (pun intended). Every other track in the country...if they had to cancel the Friday portion if tickets had already been sold...would run the Friday portion on Saturday afternoon honoring the Friday passes sold, clear the grandstands, then let people back in with a 2-day pass or a Saturday only pass. It's that simple. Lots of people will go to R7 on Friday then be completely dumbfounded when they get charged $50 for a 1 day show at PPMS on Saturday. The Hillbilly, which paid $30k to win, was $35 for a 1 day show. $35 would still be acceptable for a 1 day pass at PPMS. They're going to lose a lot of paying customers for $50.

This is nothing new for the Miley's. The way they structure ticket prices, race entry fees etc. benefits them and them only. I've witnessed numerous instances like this in past years. That's why we don't race there anymore.

Same post every year. If you can't afford it, don't go.  I won't pay what the Steelers want for a football ticket, but I don't get on a sports board or the Steeler Facebook page every year bitching about it.

Well this is a first for them, 50.00 for a one day show. I can't travel up to the race this year but I'll ask this. So anyone who travels probably is not going to turn around, anyone camping is not. I'd like to see if there going to list it in any advertising they do. I've been to that race for yrs. Never did I look at what it cost to get in the gate. $50.00 is to high.

Its always been that way because Fridays show is just heat races, that dont pay anything. Those other shows that have one day only passes/tickets is because there are usually separate shows Friday and Saturday. This comes up every year.
