Tim Shaffer ran pretty well in the Sides 7s backup car.  Was a pretty good show.  I hope they rethink the parking procedure.

Made people drive the whole way down around the pit fence.  INTO the lower section of the pits. Then walk the entire way back up around the fence to the ticket booth.  Definitely not a well accepted clusterf*ck

You're telling me it was standing Room only for them to use that portion of the parking lot?

No, it was not standing room only. For some reason they would not let anyone park on the turn 1 side of the lot. It was almost completely empty all night.

No.  This was at 5:00.  Parking lot wasn't even half full. I waited a little bit then moved back out into the field.

I had to go in a different entrance, but drove around to near the pit entrance where I always park. Got there about 3:40, early for a decent parking spot due to my bad hip!!

That's really weird. Might have valet parking now there in turn 1😄
