It is true!!!! I talked with Merl for about 15 minutes last night!! He will run 410 Sprint Cars, 358 small block Modifieds and a third yet undecided class weekly on Sunday nights. He has no plans to run more than three classes, pay a good purse and get the shows over early so everyone can get home which is what is needed with a Sunday night track!!
GOOD RACING TO ALL!!!

Merle Black is the same fellow who tried to buy Marion Center last year. He is a 358 Modified car owner of Lonny Riggs #58. He told me last night it would be $2,000 to win for the Sprint Cars!!
GOOD RACING TO ALL!!!

I get that they own a 358 team, but how many 358s are in the area any more? They didn't have a ton of success trying to get the 358 tour of the ground, as they had 8 cars at the show at Dog Hollow(which I guess is high for Dog Hollow). From the outside looking in I would think opening it up to Big Blocks would make the car count better.

Rick is the picture you took in the url posted part of a larger picture?
The other crowd picture from Tri City that was used in the Tri City web site heading just had from around Ed Lynch on back.
If the "big" picture is the current one we were just now pointed to and the other picture combined, i'd sure like to purchase the combined "big" picture. Or maybe could a combined "big" picture be made from the two?
thanks
