Sad to report Rick Hall lost his couragious 6 1/2 year battle with cancer on Monday. Rick raced big block modified race cars for more than 40 years. His home track was Mercer Raceway, a place where he enjoyed spending his time. He was active with BRP Modified Tour and served as a board member and former race director. In recent years Rick also raced vintage dirt modified cars. He owned and operated Big Daddy's Speed Center. God speed my friend

My experiences with Rick was he followed a credo that was more about the racing and not only focused on winning! He was a consummate sportsman and relished his time with friends and family both at the track and away from it. Godspeed my friend and rest peacefully!
