Anyone interested in a bus trip to Fort Wayne races Dec 27/28?

I might be able to get it done from somewhere on the Ohio/PA line maybe somewhere around I80 where cars could be left in parking lot.  It would be one pickup and drop off point only.  Thinking leave early Friday and come home Sunday if I can swing rooms at Holiday Inn on Shaffer Drive.

any interest, if not i'll just forget about it

pm or show interest on here where everyone can beat you up over your words.  :)

edit:  You'd have to buy your own pit pass or seating.  I'm just thinking about it covering the cost of the bus and hotel for you.  By the way the hotel has limo service across the street, which you don't want to try to walk across, to the Coliseum.

Might be able to swing either a bus of small limo type bus depending on how many.  It's roughly a 4.5hr trip from the pa/ohio line

edit2:  I ain't got a clue what the cost would be because unless there's interest i'm not going to bother spending time on it.  If anyone's interested about what I would get out of it, i'd be looking for a free hotel and breakfast eats along with a free ride for doing it.  The hotel now if you book has a racers rate which included breakfast which is not usually included at a regular Holiday Inn.  Think I saw $109 per night.  If I can do it you may or may not get the breakfast included.  You'd either have to pay the Holiday Inn rate or uber to get breakfast eats because there's nothing in close walking distance from the hotel.

That's all I can think of quickly.

That is a nice idea and should go well with the party hardy crowd. Wondering if you will set up a dry-board and put on a 3 1/2  hour class of hypothetical chassis setups during the 3 hour ride?

I don't think people would be able to be on a bus with you for that long Without trying to commit suicide😄

We had plans to head to Columbus and race, but Dash won the Championship at Slippery Rock and Banquet was the same day.  We watched it on Facebook Live though.  It was bad fast!!

Congratulations !

I wish every oval dirt or asphalt fan around here or on this board could or would make it to an indoor race at Columbus or Fort Wayne.

Are you going to Fort Wayne?  Just got a call back from the Hotel and racers rate of $106 also gets you a Holiday Inn breakfast along with shuttle over to the Colosseum.  I read so many on here pissing and moaning while touting how they go for good racing not the speed.  Both good racing and speed are relevant to the track and equipment.  At either Columbus or Fort Wayne you will have both and I can't imagine any real oval racing fan not wanting to see both at least one time.  Fort Wayne is two solid days of racing from ten in the morning to ten at night, what more could you want.

Sure wish the Fort Wayne Roller Girls season wasn't over.  Would be fun to take in a Roller Derby while there.

I still have a souvenir "Fort Wayne Roller Girls" whiskey cup from the races there.
