Tommy Bare, father of Booper and Grandfather of Tyler passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 22nd. I can remember back in the day many of his racing exploits as Booper's career was taking off. As he stepped aside from the cockpit, Tommy was certainly proud of Booper's and Tyler's carrying on the family tradition.

I didn't know Tommy but from the dealings that I have had with Booper and Tyler I would have to say he did a real good job in raising a family
The Bare family is a straight shooting group---they are fair with everyone ---work hard and smart

I have known all three for quiet some time as I have traveled through the mid-atlantic and near Midwest. I had rare opportunities to watch Tommy race and I can only remember six such occasions. However, I have seen Booper and Tyler visit victory lane on many nights. They are a great family that care highly approachable. RIP Tommy!
