Great job Walt; you retelling of the history of the ASCoC/MOSS helped me remember the days of my youth that time has all but erased. Thankfully I was fortunate enough to see almost all of those drivers demonstrate their talents.

Thanks walt. Brings back good memories of are 3 night weekends. Lernerville, Schmuckers and Motordrome. We made the trip north for that sprint car race that opperman was at. Mercer was a great sprint car track, especially back in the day. But Schmuckers had the late models and coupes and its were we usually ended up for one reason or another.

My favorite, Motordrome. The banking, speed, and drivers. I think it was western pa's diamond in the ruff. Perfect location with great site lines. Today it sits rotting away. Shame, dam shame.
