Officials with the FASTRAK Racing Series Northeast and Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex have announced that the May 24th race has been postponed. With uncertainty regarding the current situation amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the decision was made to postpone the event. The Series and track agreed to find a suitable date later in the year.

“We are looking forward to getting the FASTRAK Racing Series Northeast season kicked off,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine, “However, we continue to navigate these unprecedented times and felt it was in the best interest of the drivers, track, fans, and series to postpone the Memorial Day weekend event. We continue to see light at the end of the tunnel and hope to get back to racing as soon as possible.”

While a rescheduled date was not immediately available, an announcement will be made once a date is finalized. FASTRAK recently announced that no points will be awarded towards the VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship until 75% of sanctioned tracks are able to resume operations.

This is a struggle for us all.

FASTRAKPR, being that ROARING KNOB is Fastrak  sanctioned, does Roaring Knob have required insurance to operate currently and past weeks they have run?

Many RUMORS are that they don't, and have not for 2020 season.

Can and Will You provide an answer?

Please be responsible and put an end to the speculation with FACTS.

No response within 24 hours will solidify the rumors they do not have required liability insurance.

Yes but if you look closely at the policy posted, they have RUSH listed on it which makes no sense since they are a fastrak track.

The policy just renewed but they never changed it from rush to fast track in that Box Rick said on the post. It has now been updated and correct.

Ok so you show up and there's no safety or medical services on site. Then what ? Glad to see they posted a insurance policy, puts those rumblings to rest.

Do tracks insurance policies require them to have medical and rescue personnel on site? Fastrakpr, do you folks require it? I would think in this age of liability and lawsuits. Tracks and series would protect themselves to the max. JMO
