Agreed. They have some things to work on, but they seem to acknowledge that. It still went way smoother than I ever expected a first show for first time promoters to go

I heard very little complaining during the two breaks when they worked the track. I think two things were at play. One was people were just happy to go see some racing on a beautiful Sunday so that they could forget about everything going on in the country right now. Secondly, I think most seasoned fans realized that Merles' first night wasn't going to run like a Swiss watch. The most heartening take away for me was that he paid more than the advertised purse, plus he was proactive to the track conditions, even having a local company bring in one of their water buffalos when his own truck was a little wonky. Anyway, as an open wheel fan, I'm really rooting for Merle and Tri-City Raceway Park.

What was the admission. I had family functions and got there after the booths closed, so I bought some food that I didn't really want to help out.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

That sounds like it would be a logical answer.  But no, there is no current info on their website.  No results, no points, not much of anything.
