The World of Outlaw Sprints are in the house tonight at the Lernerville Speedway, vying for the $25K first prize in the prestigious Don Martin Silver Cup Memorial.  There are Thirty-nine (39) cars in the pits for tonight's events.  Brad Sweet set fast time during qualifying at 13.331.  Sixth starting Donny Schatz won the Don Martin Silver Cup 40-lap A-Main, beating 3rd starting Kyle Larson to the line by .310 seconds.  Results as follows:

I hate sprint cars but always attend to see the best in the sport and it was awesome.

Great to hear of great racing in our area!!! Thanks so much for sharing.

My opinion, these weird time may actually be helping the sport!!! Now if promoters could get them on the front lines rather than just being the dirt track down the road wed be doing great! For instance, a huge, national, professional race in the Pittsburgh region last night... media should have been wined and dined and all over it!

My opinion, these weird time may actually be helping the sport!!! Now if promoters could get them on the front lines rather than just being the dirt track down the road wed be doing great! For instance, a huge, national, professional race in the Pittsburgh region last night... media should have been wined and dined and all over it!

The problem with that is you dont wanna draw too many eyes to the fact we are packing in like sardines everywhere. It doesnt do their narrative any good if all of these people are attending races and no one is dying

I'm sure they would if they saw how packed the grandstands were.

One of the best races I have seen in a long time.........so glad the rain held off and we decided to go........amazing

Hats off to lernerville, still 1 of the best racetracks in america, reminded me of the mark kinser, Ed Lynch jr race. Still believe that was the best outlaw show I've been to.

I don't go to a lot of the Outlaw shows at Lernerville, and this was the first time I've seen them water the track before the A main.  I thought that was an Outlaw no-no.  I'm glad they did, it made for great racing!
