Thanks Danimal. Im hoping everyone sees it that way. Even if you finish 10th its $400. $300 to start with no entry fees should be a pretty good deal for guys that have to travel. Just need some good weather for once. And it is actually the day I lost my Dad so he HAS to help me out, right :)

ELM update: I’m trying to get some new cars to give the race a shot given the Covid madness and track closures to the north. So I’m teaming up with Marcie Barlow from Mary’s Clothesline, LLC to offer them an “Outsider” bonus. For a driver who never competed in the ELM before, the highest finisher in the A main will get a $100 bonus on top of their finishing position. So let’s say you make the race and finish the highest at 10th, you will take home a very enticing $500 ($400 plus $100 Outsider bonus). I’m also doing this to grow the race and keep it fresh for fans. Please let me know if any questions. To avoid doubt, contact me to see if you are eligible!  Thanks.

Just wanted to combine a few ELM updates from last night/today:

$100 bonus to leader of lap 27 in memory of Brandon Hawkins from Dan and Heather Hunkele

$45 added to 17th place finisher from Kyle Shannon Racing ($350 total)

$50 added to 19th place finisher from John Gill Racing ($350 total)

$50 added to 22nd place finisher from Robert Betz Racing ($350 total)

Not a bad payout if you didn’t have the best night and end up in these spots.

ELM Feature will be 30 laps for those who asked.

Next week 8/8 will be a tune up ELM race at PPMS. Open tires, any compound. Penn Ohio Rules. Contact me with any questions.

Some fun ticket giveaways will be coming in the next two weeks.

If you haven’t contacted me yet to get involved please do, I still have some ideas to support the race.

Thanks!

Best of luck with your Dad's memorial this year. I'm sure he would really be proud of you, especially during this troubling year.

Attica ran last night, but without fans in the stands and they had pretty good car counts.  Maybe they can remain open without fans, I don't know.

Updated final payout for 9th annual Ed Laboon Memorial:

Due to overwhelming support, I was able to increase the payout to a minimum of $325 to start for the ELM, with many bonuses added to make most start money $350!  The Dobs NQ race will now be $125 to start!  Another reminder, the Invader bonus of $100 is on top of the money in the ELM.  So if you are the only new driver to make the race and you finish last, you will still take home $450 ($350 + $100)!  Still no entry or registration fees, just show up and race!  Please spread the word and hope to see you this Saturday at PPMS!

After last nights pathetic show and track conditions you may want to rethink about your race and move it to another track.

Don't you get tired of complaining?  This is your third negative post of the day.  Be glad the tracks are open and running under the circumstances.

Well, Ive already asked for feedback from the support divisions if theyd be okay with running features only, Ive sent a draft agenda and running order suggestion to Matt Miley, Ive found help if needed for a sheeps foot and grader, Im working on a rain date, and Ive added almost $1000 to the purse so far today and its 6:30 lol. Instead of b!tching or quitting I act and try to make things better. Just my outlook I guess.

Can't argue with that. You got promoter written all over you. Looking forward to seeing the race.
