Latrobe Results Someone?

Anyone got them? For as much as they pumped up this race and new track conditions, seems to be crickets now.

Track seemed to hold up ok.  did a little water and run in at int. while fixing the lights.  The Supers sure seemed fast.  fast time I believe was 19.  Peger earned this one. from 3rd row had a great battle with Angeliccio for lead while lux and feree chased. Was disappointed in the car count. (15?)  SLM feature was over by 10:30.   Crowd was good enough to give SLM one more shot I hope.

Thanks for the run down. Its been 14 years since I have made the trip. Looking forward going back if they ever get a series late model race.

Mike Pegher Jr. wins in the Return Of The Super Late Models

Also winning features where Braeden Dillenger in the FASTRAK Late Models, Tommy Dembowski in the Pro Stocks, Mike Benton in the Chargers and Larry Weltz in the 4 Cylinders.

Daniel Angelicchio and Matt Lux bought the Super Late Model feature onto the track. At the drop of the green, Angelicchio jumped out to the lead with third starting Alex Ferree moving into second and Nolan Dalton moving into third and Lux fading to fourth. Ferree would put pressure on Angelicchio, but was not able to make the pass. One of the fastest cars on the track was fifth starter, Mike Pegher Jr. Pegher would moving into third on lap two and into second on lap 16. He would start to put pressure on Angelicchio and on lap 20, make the pass for the lead. Lux was also working his way through the pack and on lap 29, moved into second and get with in a car length of Pegher, but Pegher would take the win aboard the Lynn Geisler owned #1 Cochran, Jack's Auto Rocket. second was Matt Lux, third was Daniel Angelicchio, fourth was Drake Troutman and rounding out the top five was Charlie Powell. Sixthed through tenth was Alex Ferree, Kenny Schaltenbrand, Nolan Dalton, John Weaver and Matt Salla. the remander of he field was Jon Hodgekiss, Jon Lee, john Meyers and Ryan Claycomb. Mike Pegher Jr. set fast time and Alex Ferree and Pegher won the heat races.

Russell Baird Jr. and Braeden Dillenger brought the FASTRAK Late Models out for there feature event. Dillenger would take advantage of starting on the frontrow and jump out to the lead with Baird and Vince Masi in tow. One of the fastest cars on the track was seventh starter, Clate Copeman. Copeman would move into third on lap 16 and pressure Baird for second. They would run that way the rest lof the race with Dillenger taking the win aboard the Jeff Dillinger owned, Hodge Transmission, Ultra Lite Brake Barry Wright Icon chassis. Baird would finish second, Copeman was third, Andrew Koenig was fourth and Mike Cuthburt was fifth. Rounding out the top 10 was Joe Moyer in sixth, Michael Ott in seventh, Vince Masi was eighth and Butch Moyer was ninth. Dillenger won the heat race.

Tommy Dembowski and Ryan Maglione would lead the Pro Stock feature on the track. Dembowski would jump out to the early lead with Joe Kelley and Brent McDonald in tow. One of the fastest cars on the track was seventh starting Martin Spade. Spade would move into second on lap four and would try to put pressure on Dembowski, but Dembowski would take the win in the Demobowski racing, Active Chiropractic racecar. Spade would settle for second, McDonald was third, Kelley was fourth and rounding out top five was Steve Mitchell. Sixth was Maglione, Brett Hutera was seventh and Ray Hickok Jr was eighth. Spade won the heat race2.

EJ Rozak and James Hixson brought the Charger feature on to the track At the drop of the green, Rozak would jumped out to the lead with Hixson and Mike Benton in tow. Rozak would go on and lead almost the entire race, but coming to the checkered flag, Anthony Monteparte and Rozak made contact resulting to both going to the back of the pack. One back under green, Justin Ruff would move around Benton and go on for what appeared To be the win, but, would not pass post race tech and the win was given to Mike Benton, aboard the Benton Racing Chevrolet. Brandon Doland would finish a career best second, Rozak was third, Monteparte was fourth and John Hollis was fifth. Sixth was Jim Zufall, Stephan Hazlett was seventh, Jacob Weyer was eighth, Shawn McGinnus was ninth and Scott Casto was tenth. Rounding out the field was James Hixson, Brad Massey, Chris Hickok, Ron Ramsey and Justin Ruff. Heats where won by Rozak and Hickok.

Dylan Burkett and Larry Weltz brought the 4 cylinder feature onto the track. Weltz would jump out to the early lead, but Burkett would challenge Weltz every lap for the lead. One of the fastest cars on the track was Matt Weltz. He would start seventh and on lap three would move into third. But Larry Weltz was up to the challenge and take a career first win follow by Dylan Burkett and Matt Weltz in third, fourth was Paul Koefler in fourth and Brian Noel in fifth. Rounding out the field was Dale Grubbs, Jason Rittenour, Brett Oris, Josh Grubbs, and Brenden Hazlett, Brandon Meyers, Jeff Burns, Justin Conner, Jeremy Grubbs, David Needham, Tiffany McElhose, CJ Perrill and Bam O'Nell. Burkett, Matt and Larry Weltz won the heat races.
