Willie White Memorial recap:

Thanks for all the support last night both sponsors and drivers!  Since we did not get a full field everyone who started the feature will get at least $250 start money.  I was also able to pay Todd Weldon and Noah Brunell $200 tow money each by them splitting the hard luck award.

Other bonuses:
Highest Penn Ohio Member and Dash- $200 extra to Chris Schneider
Highest non-Penn Ohio Member- $100 Daryl Charlier
Fast time- $100 Noah Brunell
Hard Charger $50- Randy Wyatt
Highest Lernerville Car-$50  Chase Lambert

Special thank you to all the sponsors, drivers, and Miley Motor Sports for some great Pro Stock shows this year.  Can't wait for the 10th annual Ed Laboon Memorial next year!

Interesting stat about last nights Willie White Race. Both Pro stocks and Rush LM qualified. Noah Brunell was fast time at 19.755 seconds and 113.895 MPH. Only the top 5 Rush LM qualifiers were faster than that time. Which means Noah in a 2900# car was faster than 12 Rush cars. Not a knock on those guys, and I know they are using a 604, but my point is the pro stocks are really moving at PPMS!

yea and the cost has driven all but the most dedicated away..if not for the Penn Ohio series they would be already gone. its not a rip on any driver, owner or team member, everyone knows I love the class as much as Vince or anyone but these days when 45 cars show..that is damn near all from the entire area. RIP Willie...the 4th turn crew ruled back in the day!

WOW. Well I bet those 5 crate cars have 2 to 3 times the amount of money as the pro stock car does.

Funny you say that Danimal. My memory on facebook yesterday was being at Mercer for the little guys in 2015. 53 open stocks for $1500 to win. I had to beg, borrow, and steal for 17 stocks at Willie and paid out over $7000. Its tough anymore. I agree if you get 40 stock cars for an event anymore youre doing something right!

Chase's 7th place finish on 9/18 was missing from Speedhive if you look at their points totals.  It's a known issue between Chase and the track.  That's why he got the bonus, he is actually ahead of Jason.  They will fix it and recalculate the points after this week.

I assumed "Highest Lernerville Car" meant highest finish in Saturday's race by a Lernerville car, and only included their points at Lernerville to reference that they both were Lernerville cars.  Doesn't matter to me either way, just thought it was odd that 73 was the highest finishing Lernerville car and didn't get the award.

Tha'ts what I thought. Award, should be for this race. Lernerville points only show ,they are Lernerville regular.

Except the 73 team doesnt consider themselves a Lernerville regular nor would they accept the $50 as the highest finishing Lernerville car if offered.

How else would you define “Lernerville car” other than points?  About 25 Penn Ohio guys raced there only once or twice this year. Technically they are all “Lernerville cars” as they made an appearance. Have to go by points to define “regular” as Foz said.

Well, in the crates, it was a combination of overheating issues, and the drugged up wreckingball who takes out numerous cars every week in the 33. I know the guy is new, but his driving has been ridiculous all year. I dont think he's had a single clean race all season. Surprising the track keeps putting up with it.

Well, they're certainly regular by any interpretation of the definition.  You don't sit in the top 10 in points by not racing there.  As for the not accepting the $50, ok.

I agree that you would define "Lernerville car" by points, perhaps more specifically, the top 10 in points.  Outside of that, you're likely looking at guys that go half the time or less.

I was simply curious about the 73 (a Lernerville regular, based on points) finishing ahead of the 22 (also a Lernerville regular) but not receiving the award.  Again, doesn't matter to me, just making conversation.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.
