Its with heavy heart that I inform you that "old man d" passed away last night.  Dave was a very close and dear friend and bleacher buddy.  He leaves behind a son and daughter, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Please keep his family in your prayers and say a prayer for him also as we wave the checkered flag on his time here with us.

Condolences and prayers from my family and me.

Though I may have never met him he always had a courteous and kind reply.

I felt as if he was a friend and his kindness will be missed.

Prayers and sadness from my heart

Godspeed.  While I didn't know him personally, he was always respectable and very knowledgeable on old-time racing.  Very sad news.

Sorry to hear this. Whether it's a racer, crew member or fan it's always sad to hear that the racing community has lost someone. RIP.

I only knew him here, but it is a tragic loss even at this level. Love and prayers to those who have had the pleasure of knowing the man himself.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.
