You probably know as much as me, lol. Savino thought he had an agreement in place. That fell through. Then there was someone after him that was rumored to have bought it outright or, who had an agreement in principle to have bought it. That was the last I heard and that was several months ago.

I dunno, I was there once last year and there was a for sale sign for 500,000, hell of a lot for that place in my opinion lol

Do any of the tracks mentioned run a 358 all steel or a steel block class? The 358 llm's have good fields here in central Pa. Would like to try some different tracks on off weekends though. Thanks

A couple of tracks tried it around here, but I think they've gone to a 602 crate engine and call them Semi-Lates.  Clinton County has a 358 Semi-Late/Limited Late class. Probably closer to you than Western Pa. It's nearly 3 hours from Pittsburgh.

Hummingbird, Thunder Mountain and Hidden Valley all run. 358 steel block class with a 602 engine as an option. Ive never compared rules between the western and central pa 358 to see the differences but I know some individuals from western pa have ran at Port Royal and Baps a few times.

I must have missed it, because I did a quick look at their rules and all I saw was 602 and checked out. Thanks, man. Dog Hollow should think about this class instead of Supers, but I really don't know how many of them are out there and they would be splitting them with TMS. Whatever.

Bedford's Late Model Sportsman Division also is a steel block class with a max 362 cubic inches, although they are not on the schedule every week.

The Bedford steel block class always puts on a good show, i think Hagerstown, Baps, Path Valley, Winchester, Port Royal may also run the Bedford rules. Don the steel Block class at Hummingbird and Hidden Valley have shock rules and other stuff that makes them quite different than the steel blocks at the above mentioned tracks?

hummingbird was drawing some good slm's last year with stateline closed. mckean and stateline will take care of that.

from what I'm seeing this is an attempt to corner the Hobby stock market after they gave up on the Pro stock class.
stock bodies with 8" tires and a 602.

That will only split the field even more. Granted, few if any travel very far anyhow but the guys that did run there will now have to buy a crate motor, 8" tire and wheel combo, those expenses just keep adding up and then you do get locked into running at one track.

I believe her 5 year plan was to have a crate in every division out there. I mean she even tried to get Tim schafer to run her motors at his privately own track where they just raced for a fun.

I know you're only half joking. I don't care what she does since I have no interest in her product. What I do have a problem with is people trying to portray her as Mother Theresa. She's a business woman that pirated a concept, made it regional and markets it as a savior to struggling race tracks and racers. From this fans stand point, it's nothing more than background noise.
