I just checked out the Roaring Knob Facebook page and website, appears Rick Jones is no longer in command. They have Rose Compton listed as the Promoter and a lengthy schedule. Could this be the long awaited great Revival of racing on the Mountain????

Jones is still the owner. They tried the new promoter trick before with Billy Simmons announced as promoter but Jones was still in charge. They are going back to Saturdays which will obviouslt be a challenge with Pittsburgh, Latrobe, Cumberland, Tyler County all not that far away.

I talked to some of the Regulars, and confirmed Rick Jones is out of the picture. He is now only the property owner it's 100% Rose Compton's show. It was going to sit idle if Rose did not take over.
