The Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series for Super Late Models is at South Carolina's Lake View Motor Speedway this evening, paying $7K to win the 40-lap feature.  There are Twenty-six (26) cars in the pits tonight.  Michael Nance and Ross Bailes took off from their front row spots with Nance in the lead and by the first caution on Lap 25, they were 5 seconds ahead of 3rd place Cla Knight.  However, the caution occurred when Kale Green slowed dramatically right in front of the leaders, and both got into Green but were able to continue.  After the caution, Nance had trouble getting off the corners and Bailes took the lead on Lap 34, and went on for the victory.  Results as follows:

So how many of those cars do you think had big motors ? Crate motors ? That wasn't a race.

It seems like these tracks that the series go to really don't provide that good racing. Last year I recall there was maybe one good race out of the whole series. I don't know if it is just because these are not 100% full blown late models.

Jmo but what a dumb rule they have though... Bailes completely spun and wrecked and got his spot back because the lead cars are protected in this instance
