Why do both tracks feature 410 winged sprints on Saturday,May 29th......There aren't enough cars around here,and when tracks do this,it splits the fans,too....INSANITY.....

Hes talking about Mercer and PPMS. And yes its stupid and ultimately the reason Im going out of the area Saturday. Both tracks will get 12 cars and then say it was on our schedule first and the consumer is the one that loses out

There's a history of these two tracks in particular refusing to cooperate, and a theme in W. Pa. in general. Just another reason why more of our 410's are going out to Ohio, Central Pa., or just running higher paying races. It's the fans that get the short end of the stick. I don't blame the teams at all for doing what they feel they have to.
I don't go to PPMS, and based on some things I've heard about how MRP conducts their show, I won't be supporting that place, either. I get that race tracks can't cater to every individual team's whims, but driver's are doing what some of these tracks are telling them; "If you don't like it, go somewhere else." Well done. Personally, I don't like it, either so I'll go spend my money somewhere else, too.

Ill agree with you on Mercer. My plans are Wayne county. A 1.5 hr drive instead of 20 minutes. I will give Mercer one more chance for speedweek.

Haha Ill trade that in for sunny and 75 for my Dads Race in 11 days!
Did the Mileys put more money into your race this year? Every year it has been 15 GA and 35 pits ( I could be wrong and it was 40) but this year I see it is 20 GA and 40 pits. I hope you told them running every division on big race nights is a dumb idea. Got a bad feeling you are going to get screwed.

I hear ya Chrome, no one likes higher prices. But this is a hell of a show for $20!! I think ticket prices for our sport are very reasonable compared to other forms of entertainment. JMO! If your looking for a good race this weekend, the BRP is at The Bird.

What happened to the Sprint cars this Saturday? We actually had plans of coming down to watch them.

Doesn't Vince raise all the money for the purse for his event? If that is true he should be able to decide what the gate prices are and not somebody else. I bet this will turn away some lower teams now nobody wants to pay $40.

What happened to the Sprint cars this Saturday? We actually had plans of coming down to watch them.
I guess they took them off the schedule today maybe after reading this post and realized sprints were double booked.

They definitely will get any out the outlaws show as the drivers get a free pit pass plus it might even be a points show up race
