Weekend Roundup – Repeat 2021 winners sweep weekend Homak Penn Ohio Series sanctioning track events: Dylan Cecce at Hidden Valley; Bobby Whitling at the New Stateline and Tri City; and, Brandon Connor at Hummingbird Speedway!
June 27, 2021 (Sandy Lake, PA) Homak POPS powered by Can-Am members had an opportunity to accumulate points at 4 of the 9 sanctioning tracks this past weekend. Hidden Valley’s $1,000 to-win event was a bonus point race for those participating in the event. Dylan Cecce captured the win in his #18 Pro One Chassis making it two Penn Ohio Series wins this season. Bobby Whitling made his way to victory lane two times in two days winning at the New Stateline Speedway in the #04 Slider Race Car Chassis and at Tri City Raceway in the #7W Slider Race Car Chassis. Whitling, the 2017 Homak Penn Ohio Series Point Champion, currently has 4 Penn Ohio Series wins out of his 8 appearances at Penn Ohio Series’ sanctioning track events. Brandon Connor’s #55 parked in Hummingbird Speedway’s victory lane for the 2nd time this season. Connor has a total of three Penn Ohio Series’ wins in 2021: two at the Bird and one at Thunder Mountain.
Josh Seippel has led the Homak POPS powered by Can-Am points from the beginning of the season and continues to hold the top spot with 1,342 points after 14 races. Brett McDonald is in 2nd with 1,143 points and Josh Blum secures 3rd with 1,061 points (both drivers have 12 races). Drivers with 10 races in the books are situated in the 4th and 5th spot: Curtis J. Bish, 992 points and Chase Lambert, 908 points. Duke Davidson, currently in 6th, has 9 races in with 789. Whitling, with 8 races, jumped into 7th with 781 points. Also with 8 races complete, Bill Hurrelbrink sits in 8th, 774 points; Curt Bish Jr. in 9th with 757 points; and, Tyler Wyant in 10th with 749 points. The 2021 Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series powered by Can-Am Points Champion will be crowned at the end of the season based on the member's top 15 total points.

Saturday, July 3 – Hidden Valley Speedway, Hummingbird Speedway, New Stateline Speedway, PMS Speedway, Latrobe Speedway

Thunder Mountain is not running Penn Ohio pro stocks on Friday, July 2nd. Sharon Speedway does not have racing on Saturday, July 3rd.
There are two PSX events on the schedule for the month of July. Thunder Mountain Speedway on Friday, July 16th will pay $3,500 to-win. The 3rd Annual Ray’s Race takes place on Sunday, July 25th at Tri City Raceway paying at least $3,500 to-win. Both races will be bonus point races.
