July 7, 2021 (Sandy Lake, PA) Mother Nature defeated drivers at Lernerville Speedway last Friday night.  However, five of the nine Homak POPS powered by Can-Am sanctioning tracks had beautiful weather on Saturday enabling drivers to hit the tracks for a chance at points toward the 2021 Points Championship.  Tim Bish parked his 11B in victory lane at Hummingbird Speedway for his 1st Penn Ohio sanctioned win of the season.  Non-series member Rich Howell picked up a win at Hidden Valley Speedway; while, Non-series member, John Boardman was victorious for the 5th time this season at the New Stateline Speedway.  Brian Huchko found victory lane at PMS in his #60 machine.  Jeff Broniszewski’s #08 has been in the winner’s spot three out of three showings at Latrobe Speedway.  The 4th of July celebration at Tri City Raceway on Sunday did not disappoint fans as pro stock drivers put on a great show.  Curtis J. Bish continues his phenomenal season in the Tarr Motorsports owned #29 picking up the win at Tri City for his 4th Penn Ohio sanctioned season win (2 at Sharon Speedway and 2 at Tri City).

With 15 races in the #84 of Josh Seippel continues to lead the way in the Homak POPS powered by Can-Am points as he chases the 2021 crown.  Brett McDonald holds on to 2nd in points after 13 races with 1,233 points, followed by Josh Blum in 3rd with 1,144 points (also with 13 races).  Curtis J. Bish (1,092 points in 4th) and Chase Lambert (994 points in 5th) have 11 races in the books.  Tied for 6th with 9 races and 862 points are Bobby Whitling and William Hurrelbrink.  8th place finds Curt Bish Jr. #00 with 853 points after 9 races.  Youngster, Tyler Wyant sits in 9th with 9 races, 843 points.  Rounding out the top 10 is Doug Iorio II with 9 races and 799 points.  Seippel will begin dropping points as drivers will use their best 15 total points accumulated at POPS sanctioning tracks.
