Wow, 17 cars started and only 4 finished.

That Semi-Late races took about 45 minutes to run. Yellow after yellow after yellow. Some of it had to do with the track, which was very fast all night and smooth until after intermission. Then, the moisture started to bleed through and ruts and ridges formed. It cost Nate Smith $1,200. Well, Smith driving like he wanted to win by five laps and showing off did himself in. He clearly had the fasted car, all he had to do was run around the bottom. It looked like he broke something in the rear in turn four as he was about to take the white flag.
