Years ago, a friend of mine said he would like to show up at a track for the first time and run in the top ten.  As fortune would have it, I was  at a family reunion in Tennessee one year and saw a race scheduled in Mississippi just forty miles away.  Not too long after I arrived at the track, I called him and told him I had found his place.  If he had five different type cars, he could show up the first time and run in the top ten in all the divisions.  Maybe he doesn't have to go to Mississippi. Sounds like he can go to Latrobe.   :D  In Mississippi, all the divisions ran two heats with all the cars and then ran a feature with all the cars.  It was a 15 event night,  the track surface was good and so were the hamburgers. Forgot to mention, he could have finished in the top five in at least one of the divisions.

I replied on Latrobe's Facebook page and when I posted that they only list the top five finishers in the A-Main, someone from the track replied that they list the total results of all divisions every week, but those results are not on the Latrobe Speedway website and not on the Latrobe Speedway Facebook page, so I have no idea where the results can be found.

They are running Big Block Mods this weekend, with it not being a BRP race and Mercer also running Mods I not sure who they are expecting to run this race. Maybe a couple Lernerville cars who dont run Mercer?

I went when they had the Big Blocks there last year. I think they had 15 cars or so.

can't find what they are paying at Mercer,  but I think $2200 to win at Latrobe.  Would really like to see them at Latrobe!

Was at my daughter's in South Carolina one year and went to a track not far from her house.  There were 38 people in the grandstands. Yes, 38.   The top division was pure stocks.  The announcer kept saying next week they were having super late models paying $2000 to win.   I just kept thinking, he's telling that to 38 people.  How is that place going to pay $2000 to win?   Then I saw a flyer for the race.  Like they say, read the fine print.  The race was going to pay $2000 to win, based on a 20 car count and there was a $100 entry fee.  No mention of what the other positions would be paying, if anything.  Never did find out the results of that $2000 TO WIN race.
